RELIGION OR RELATIONSHIP?
If I could correct one of the BIGGEST mistakes that people make when they think of Christianity is that it is just another 'RELIGION!" NO IT IS NOT!!!
not, not, not, Jesus made this SO clear when He was here the First time.
Let me explain the difference:
Religion= Man trying to reach UP to God through good works, penance, passing through a firery purgatory ( sorry folks, this one's out, can't be backed up by SCRIPTURE ANYWHERE and the last pope admitted it was a scam to get parisheners money) ALL THE RELIGIONS OF THE WORLD WORK THIS WAY, MAN REACHING HOPELESSLY TOWARDS GOD WITH A WORKS SALVATION DOCTRINE. This includes the Cathilic Church, which is NOT an attack on individual Catholics, PLEASE understand that! However, countless doctrines that they follow as being "Thus saith the Lord" are NO MORE than man-made traditions and rules that the Catholic "Leadership" claims as divine. HM. It's interesting and even more so, troubling, that NONE of them can be found in the Holy Scripture! The sacraments they require their flock to follow are NOT biblical people! You cannot find these rules and regulations in the Bible, which is the ONLY book that is divine or holy! Any other book that man calls "holy" is an outright lie. Only the Bible is God-breathed, period! If someone is trying to sell you something as coming from God and you can't find it backed up in the Bible? Then it's a safe bet that it's not true! Be aware! Be informed!
CHRISTIANITY is SO NOT about religion! Christianity is about having a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. As religion is man trying to reach UP to God through man's devised schemes, Christianity is ALL about God reaching DOWN to mankind out of sheer, overwhelming love. Jesus Christ, the Messiah, long awaited Savior, left the glories of Heaven to come to earth.He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, preached the message of the saving Gospel beginning with repentance. He was the God/Man, fully God, fully man. He chose to lay down His life on a Roman cross to pay for OUR sin, then He took His life back up again, rose from the grave which showed all creation that God the Father had accepted Christs death as FULL payment for mans sin. When we accept the free gift of salvation by grace through faith, we are born again into the Kingdom of God, and we become God's child. Salvation is found ONLY in CHRIST; "I am The Way, The Truth, and the Life, no one comes to the Father but by Me." John 14:6 Jesus, the very Son of God, paid such a GREAT cost to save us, that He gets to choose the Way! When we reject the narrow road of grace, it's because of man's pride and love of self and sin. Because NOT to choose the eternal love of Christ and eternity in a very real Heaven is just CRAZY! How can you NOT want Him? And if people end up in Hell? It's because THEY made that choice and they cannot blame it on anyone else!
NOTE ON LOVE SO TRUE
If we could just accept Jesus' promise that He loved us SO much that He died a nost horrible, cruel, degrading way that a man could die in his day, we wOuld HAVE that Christian peace that Jesus and thr Apostles talked so mucg about! We would'd waste SO much tume and energy trying to find out where this pastor got SO screwed up as to actually BELIEVE that GOD is actually DONE with His chosen People, Israel right now, perhaps, cap the PERHAPS, God will arrive to finish what He started. In that vein, has He ever...REALLY? The covenant God made with Abraham regarding Abrahams descendants inhabitating the land FOREVER?...Yes, THAT unconditional promise has NEVER been fulfilled. But I would bet you EVERYTHINH that the battle described in Ezek. 38-39 is now only in its ver infantile changes, by making yet ANOTHER empty promised word, but one that MUST be taken seriously,
The focus of the church these days as it appears, is "healing" ALL the sick; and the result that I have witnessed up close and personal is a lot of pain and guilt being dished out on those who have enough on their plate to begin with,
without the church piling it on them with their WILLFULL disbelief. Their next line of attack is just as personal, Well, when someone with Fibro gets ready to go out, some of us (though not all) still want to look half alive, and put on a little make-up, so to the world out there, "Why you look just fine to me!
If you do ANY serious research on the scriptures, Jesus' MAIN purpose in coming here was the forgiveness of sins and a true turning of our hearts towards God! And that remained the Apostle's first priority as well in his ministry, though some dead are raised, but we must remember, they were going to have to die again! Jesus came to set the captives free, and He'sstill in that busuness today. It's just such a shame that "ignorant, unsuspecting women , and more and more men, are living out "another" gospel
Now, more than ever, we need to have heads up and eyes that see, ears to hear.There are many who are heading off of the narrow path to follow doctrines 'of demons" and beieving what" mere men" tell us when it DOES NOT LINE UP WITH SCRIPTURE! We are not to follow anyone but Christ, pray to anyone besides Christ, or worship anyone besides nee York!

IS HE YOUR HEART’S DESIRE?
ARE YOU READY TO SEE YOUR KING,? IN YOUR HANDS
WHAT WILL YOU BRING?
HAS YOUR LIFE BEEN LIVED FOR YOUR OWN PLEASURe?
HAVE YOU EVER CONSIDERED THE ONE WHO GAVE BEYOND MEASURE?
THINGS DONE FOR THE NAME OF JESUS ARE ALL
THAT WILL SURVIVE HEAVEN’S TESTING FIRE.
HAS YOUR LIFE BEEN LIVED IN GOSPEL TRUTH OR HAS IT BEEN A LIE!
IF YOUR FAITH IS DEAD THEN YOUR HOPE WILL TURN TO DREAD!

SAVIOR AND LORD , HE MUST BE AND TO BE
“BORN AGAIN” IS THE ONLY KEY!
SEARCH THE WORD AND SEE THE TRUTH FOR YOURSELF,
GOD SENDS NO ONE TO HELL!
FOR ALL ETERNITY JESUS IS THE GIFT, HE IS THE KEY,
AND THE GIFT IS FREE!
THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD AND HE LOVES YOU WITH ALL OF HIS HEART!
SO CAME THE CROSS—THAT WE MAY NEVER BE APART!
THERE IS ONE GOD AND JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY.
HE IS THE ONE AND IT’S HIS WORD WE MUST OBEY!
THE CROSS IS THE BRIDGE BETWEEN US AND GOD.
THAT IS THE TRUTH EVEN IF YOU THINK IT ODD!
JESUS HOLDS THE GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE IN

The measure of God’s love is NEVER measured by our
Health, wealth, or life of ease, as told by those
Who preach such lies as these.
It is not about our selfish desires or doing what WE please.
We have a poor appreciation of God’s love.
It is so far above…our ability to understand…
God must take us by the hand and lead us, like the
Wayward, stubborn sheep that we are…
So far removed by God’s plan…
So consumed by what lies in our own hands…
We twist, disregard and disobey His holy commands!
God’s love is NOT His sparing us from all suffering, sickness and death, and He NEVER promised that!
Man twisted His words to suit their own doctrine and ways!
Again and again, man disobeys!
God’s love is in giving us SO much of Himself that He takes our breath away and then surrounds us with His glory!
But that’s just the beginning of His purpose in our lives!
Just the beginning of the story!
He has just begun! For He has given us His most precious gift!
He has given us His only Son!
Measure His love for you not on what He can give!
That’s no way for a true child of God to live!
Measure His love instead by how much of Himself
He pours out on you, how He holds to His truth!
Through the struggles, through the pain…
God’s deep waters are infinite and are entered by few
Sadly, most refuse, too much to sacrifice
Too high a price to be paid
There is SO much to learn sitting silent at His feet
Each need He will meet, but in a whole new way
Sometimes a bed of pain is the best classroom that
God can use…to draw you closer to Him than you ever
Dreamed was possible, to surround you so much with His presence
That two become one; that the Bible comes alive in your heart
And you finally believe and understand that every word is true
And promises are meant for you…
And God’s arm is not too short to save…
And that God’s greatest blessings don’t necessarily
Come from being healed and that eternal life
Is not about self, self, self
But is ALL about “knowing the True God and Jesus Christ
That He sent.”(John 17:3)
It’s eternal CHRIST and NOT eternal SELF-PLEASURE
And SELFISH DESIRES
And to doubt these central truths is to call God a liar!
When we doubt the love and the motives of Christ
When we struggle or are in pain,
We bring shame on His most Holy name!
And His heart fills with grief and with righteous rebuke!
And with just cause!
With such arrogance we approach the King of Kings!
As if we have the right to demand ANYTHING?
But we do it anyway! Everyday!
We demand wealth and we demand blessing
Along with a pain-free life
Have we forgotten that we’re being fit for Heaven
And to be Christ’s Bride?
To be pure and spotless, worthy of linen white…
That only comes by a sacrifice,
And a surrendered life!
He layed down His life for us, His wayward, thankless sheep;
We must be willing to pay the cost!
No matter what He asks, no matter how steep!
Stand up for the King, the day has come!
The time is now! Stand for the suffering!
Cleanse your heart and seek your Lord.
He holds His double-edged sword…
Make way for the King, give Him everything!
We must, we must stand for His truth!
Though it cost us everything!
To live is Christ and to die is gain,
Though we lose everything in this temporal life
But God Himself and Jesus Christ whom He sent!
He is our purpose! He is our bent!
