CHRISTMAS

You know what Christmas is to me more than ANYTHING this year? And NOT because I'm some BIG hero or some "self-proclaimed" martyr;

Christmas to me this year is ALL about doing God's work for God's people who need SO much- and WE, more or less, have it to give! Wouldn't ki be cool if we decided that ALL the money being funneled in to give US presents would be funneled in to give to God's SUFFERING children who have little or nothing, or the ministries that are suffering? THAT"S my goal this year! To spread the Gospel instead od making a Christmas list. Doesn't that sound like absolute joy and fun??? J

"He has made everything beautiful In Its Time..." (Ecclesiastes 3:11 New International Version) 

Not long ago, a Pastor friend and his family went on a guided tour of a large cave. He said, “You walk through these winding and really narrow, passageways admiring the wonders that God has created from stalagmites, stalactites, and underground rivers. We entered this one large chamber, and the guide turned on the light and directed our eyes to this high vaulted ceiling. You can probably guess what animals we saw hanging out up there - Bats, lots of Bats! The guide told us that the early explorers of this cave had found large quantities of what she called Bat Guano. If you don't know what that is, never mind. It's gross, that's what it is! But they made lots of money selling that stuff! I thought, "What good could Bat Dung possibly be?" Surprise! They make Gunpowder out of it! And even more surprisingly, they said that they can turn that gross stuff into Makeup like Mascara and Lipstick! Makes me think twice about kissing my wife. The pastor said. LOL !!! 

As I listened to that comical story, I thought, it's amazing how people can turn something Seemingly Useless and Ugly into something Useful and even Beautiful. What's more amazing is how God does that with Our Lives! In fact, He's wanting to do that very thing for you Today - to make something Beautiful and Useful out of the Ugliest things that have happened in Your Life! The truth of the matter is, He’s the only One Who Can!" HE Has Made everything beautiful in its time..."  

One way He does that is described in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4. "The Father of compassion and the God of all comfort ... comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God." I don't know what kind of "troubles" you've been through in life; it could be anything from sickness, to abuse, to addiction, to grief. But whatever the “trouble”, I know that it's made you Need the Lord more than ever before. And so you experienced His Compassion, His Comfort, His Strength, and His Support in some deeply personal ways. Now, in a sense, God wants you to be for other hurting people What He Has Been For You. That's how He takes the Worst things that ever happened to you and makes them into something Beautiful.  Your “Ugly” situations produce “Beautiful” compassion and comfort for the “troubles” of others sitting where you once sat! 

For example: Sean was at a workshop I taught on mentoring youth one day when he was desperately lonely and hurting. He was desperate, lonely and hurting enough to want to end his young life. But instead, he gave his life to Christ that day when the workshop had ended and I had already left the church. Later, he contacted me and shared his testimony and asked if I could mentor him on how to start a youth peer mentoring program, for young people like himself. Why? Because he found out how to help lonely, hurting and desperate people, and it all happened because he had once been lonely, hurting and desperate. Sean has a membership of 56 teens in his program to date and it’s still growing! Imagine if he didn’t allow God to make his Ugly—Beautiful, In Its Time.

JaNell was sexually abused by two different family members before she reached sweet 16. When she brought that awful garbage to Jesus, He began to give her a ministry to abused girls and she has helped a lot of them! Her history of abuse became the validation of her strange credentials for caring for abused victims. She shared with me the day God spoke it to her, it was simple, He told her to look at the word “abuse”, in it He highlighted the hidden word “use”. In that still quiet moment, God told her “use” your “abuse” to help others. JaNell now works with me on the Transforming Beauty Ministry launched in January 2010, that now mentors 42 girls and women.

Derrick has had a tremendous ministry to young people that others would call rejects. He's so tender and compassionate toward them. You know why? He says it's because he remembers the hurt he experienced as an illegitimate child in a terribly dysfunctional home. God has recycled his wounds into a life-changing ministry of compassion. 

God wants to do that for you if you'll only bring Him all that pain, all those wounds, all those memories. He wants to take all that Ugly stuff—stuff that Looks Like it’s useless, and He wants to turn into something Very Beautiful - a tender, compassionate, helping heart in you. Because of what Christ can do with the Waste of our lives, the ones who have been hurt the most turn out to be some of the Greatest Healers In the World. 

So don’t lose faith, Your Ugly Will Produce Something Beautiful—In Its Time!

Do not forget, We are in the Refiner's Hands !!! Grow STRONGER!!!!

LIVING FOR GOD'S GLORY

It is my intention with this blog to glorify God the best way that I can. Right now there is a battle going on in the church like we've never seen before. We have self-professing "Christians" who are deserting the major doctrines of the Christian faith as if they mean nothing; pastors denying the virgin birth, the incarnation of Christ, the fact that Christ actually died on the cross, His resurrection from the dead, the miracles of Christ, the existence of Heaven and Hell, you name it, it's under attack. But the fact that core doctrines such as the virgin birth, the resurrection,and Christ's death on the cross are SUCH a betrayal of Christ Himself, that those of us who REALLY do love Him MUST fight back, fight for the truth, so I do that. If an organization or a church or a person is teaching a false gospel, I'm going to take a stand FOR TRUTH, if they teach man's doctrine as God's word, I'm going to challenge that with the Biblical TRUTH. So a lot of people won't like that. But Christ is my Savior and Lord and He made it clear that if we are ashamed of Him here, He will be ashamed of us in front of His father. So you see, My life is His and being God, He doesn't NEED our help, but He CHOOSES to use us, and actually, it's an honor. So I will stand for the truth no matter who is doing the lying, and trust me, there's plenty of them out there. The persecution WILL come from the ones doing the lying, because when you hit a nerve, well, you know how that goes.


But that's not ALL my blog is for. I have a chronic illness called Fibromyalgia and I also have had a stroke back in 2007. So I'm pretty much homebound with chronic debilitating pain and fatigue but out of that the Lord birthed a ministry. I write poems, and I share them with others who are suffering or in pain. It is an honor to share a small part of my life with so many wonderful people that the Lord has brought into my life. And I use my blog to post some of my poems to share with you guys who happen upon my blog here. So I'm not ALL fiesty and fight, but I DO fight for the truth. If you happen to go to a church that I challenge, I'm sorry, it's not against you. You need to know with me that if it's NOT backed up somewhere in Scripture, then I won't be ok with it, and if you're a Christian, you shouldn't be either. If someone is teaching something thought up by MAN as if it came from GOD then it is a FALSE TEACHING. Seems pretty simple to me. So that's my story and this is my blog. God bless.

It sure didn't begin with Peter and the Apostles, of this we're sure. You see, the Bible is God's inerrant word and His word doesn't say a word about the ridiculous goings on in Rome, because they came along with EMP Constantiine in around 313 AD and declared "Christianity" the "official" religion of the Roman Empire. The end of the Bible ends with Armageddon and Jesus' triumphant return to earth to reign and rule, followe by Christ's Millenial reign on earth. If the Roman Catholic Church carried that much weight with God, or was as important as they seem to think they are, I THINK He would have included their birth SOMEWHERE in Scripture, but no, NOTHING, not one word. Jesus built His church on Peter's confession of Christ being the Messiah, the Son of the Living God, NOT on Peter, as Rome has ALWAYS falsely claimed! Peter did not start some unbroken line of "Infallible" popes. Thats blasphemy and folly my friends. JESUS is the FOUNDATION of His church, not a mere, fallen man with sinful tendencies! That is why, again and again, the Bible tells us we have a Firm foundation in Christ Jesus, a faithful High Priest who intercedes on our behalf night and day.And we don't go back to the "early church fathers' for our answers either! They're just men! We go back to the Bible and the FACT that, in these last days, God has chosen to speak to us THROUGH HIS SON, JESUS CHRIST, and NO OTHER! He does NOT speak to us through ANY pope! THe Bible clearly states that we are to go to the Word to hear God speak to us! God speaks to us through His word! But the Catholic Church wants such control over their flock that Catholics are mostly a Biblically illiterate group, so they don't know how to listen to God's voice through Scripture! Jesus came to set us free from ALL bondage and the RCC id certainly guilty of holding their flock hostage as they await to be told what to believe by the RCCleaders and priests, and if they went to their Bibles and checked what they were hearing against what they were hearing, they would know they are being fed lies!

If ANY of you out there read this and are Catholics, I am NOT bashing you, but I do stand firmly against your leaders for continuing to lead you down a dead end road.They are not teaching you what is in the Bible, the Lord's commands, His ways, His words, and how to find salvation in Christ so you can spend eternity in Heaven with Jesus Christ! And they teach you that what Jesus DID on the cross wasn't ENOUGH to fully pay for our sins! This is the grossest sin of unbelief I have ever heard! What pride of man! Saying Christ needs a Co-Redemtrix in Mary? That's a doctrine of demons! Not only does it ADD to Scripture, which we're forbidden to do, it STEALS glory FROM CHRIST, the LORD OF LORDS, King of Kings, SAVIOR, LAMB OF GOD! For those of you who do not know your Bibles, it has been Satan's bent from the beginning of the Christian Faith to draw people's eyes OFF of JESUS and on to ANYTHING ELSE he can think of! Mary is indeed important, but we should not offer her anything more than Scripture itself does, or even Christ Himself. There has never been a HINT that she was or IS anything other than a very blessed woman, but still a sinner in need of grace as stated in her own magnificat in the Gospel of Luke. Salvation can be found ONLY in Christ, we are saved by grace, through Faith, and this a Gift of God, not by works, that no man may boast! Eph 2-8-9 And we can ONLY come to GOD through CHRIST-period. ALL Paths DO NOT lead to God. And there is ONLY ONE GOD-OURS! The others are of the imaginations of men as all IDOLS have been down through the ages. Jesus Himself said: "I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life, No One comes to the Father BUT BY ME." Jesus has more than proved Himself to be who He claims to be- God. PLEASE READ THE SCRIPTURES FOR YOURSELVES! It is ONLY there that you can find God's truth! God Bless You!
