The SIMPLE GOSPEL MESSAGE

So to so many who are lost, this salvation "gift" seems too good to be true; man's pride rises up and insists," surely I MUST DO something, some work, some sacrament, some penance? NO, NO, NO! THAT is RELIGION my friends; Jesus comes to us through a true, deep relationship, made possible by His death on the cross whereby HE paid OUR sin debt, for ALL sin; past, present and future. It is faith by grace through faith, which is a gift of God, not of Works, so that NO Man may boast! Jesus came to set the captives free, and one of the things man is held captive by is RELIGION with it's legalism, rules, "sacraments" and man's tradition, made more important than our Savior. He died ONCE for ALL, the "works we do are BECAUSE we are saved, NOT TO BE SAVED! Can you see how man's pride stains everything it touches, we have to meddle even with God's holy word, because we think we CAN be like Him, we STILL BELIEVE Satan's first lie. Its about Jesus! NOT Jesus PLUS ANYTHING or Jesus MINUS ANYTHING, but we are deaf andf dumb and we DO ADD and we DO take away from God's breathed word, as if we know better than God? Such arrogance just slays me!
