I long for You so much my Lord

You fill my thoughts, You are my only hope

There is no hope besides You sweet Lord

My own sin is like a sword to my heart;

And it makes me feel torn apart my Jesus;

To be with You is my hearts desire;

It’s the only thing right now that sets my heart on fire

Gather us from among the nations, that we may give thanks to Your holy name!

Deliver us from our sinful flesh O God!; Cover our shame!

Let us glory in Your praise!

Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting!

And let us all raise our voices and say Amen!

Praise the Lord! Savior; raise Your sword!

The double-edged sword to dash Your enemies and put them under Your feet!

Bless You, Oh Bless You Lord, So Strong, So Sweet

Let me kneel before You and spill my tears and kiss Your feet

You are the only One who can satisfy my longing soul…

And fill me with that love that only You control…

And with Your presence I so desire;

And to light that eternal fire…

I am in darkness without You, and without Your truth inside of me;

Lord, You are so very dear to me….

Affliction and pain seem to surround but it works to form my life to be…like You

But let the suffering bring me closer to Your side, to be true and not hide

To stand strong and to endure, that my faith would be tried and sure…

You decree whether we stand or fall; all my life I surrender to You;
heart and soul, every corner, every room

PLEASE put a guard over my mouth that I might not sin against You

For I cringe at the thought of grieving Your precious heart…

Too freely, words fly unbidden in frustration and a sinful thought

God…deliver me from such things…
Please raise me up on Your Eagle’s wings…and sing…over me…
